DiFiore Center for the Arts Session in St. George

Dan Adams is a music therapist/percussionist that lives in St. George Utah. I asked if he had any events coming up and if I could be of any assistance!

Dan said they he had an event scheduled at the DiFiore Center for the Arts with mostly an elderly crowd. He said he would love me to come help out with the session and I could observe the session and at times lead and help out with the learning that was going on.

It was a great time for me to work with Elderly people since that is something I haven't had a lot of exposure to. Although it was great to learn from all these wise owls, I discovered that I am more of a kids at heart and prefer working with kids and teens. It was good for me to realize that because now I can know what types of groups I work best with. I am grateful for Dan mentoring me and teaching me more about music therapy!
